Manage the route and hire duties in the booking
  • Route
The Route tab on the quotation page lets you manage all of the information related to the route of the trip.

Start by writing the address or point of interest.

Choose a point from those suggested or define a new favorite point by clicking on the + icon. In the list of suggestions, the places have the light blue icon.

To find out more about favorite points read the guide to Manage your places.

Keep in mind that if you specify the Date and Time of a route point, you must also specify the Type, and vice versa (except for the two types ‘start duty – time to be defined’ and ‘finish duty – time to be defined’.)

Specify the type by choosing from the available options.

Each route must necessarily start with a pickup (or start duty with pickup) and end with a drop-off (or finish duty with dropoff) to be valid.
Please note that if there are multiple route points in the booking, and the type of the route points is not selected, all except the last point will be considered as departure points and shown in this way in the agenda.

Add new points from the : button below, and remove them by right-click and remove.

You can also duplicate a route point. Right-click on it and select Duplicate.

Drag the rows to re-order the points of the trip as you want. Every timetable must necessarily be consecutive to the preceding one. Any error in the order of the schedule or the types is reported when saving.

After having decided the route, you can view it directly on Google Maps by going to the Details tab and clicking on the pin icon inside the Distance field. On Google Maps, you can read the distances and duration times of your route.

  • Operational
Click on the Operational tab that is located next to the Route tab.

The rows of vehicle and driver shifts are automatically generated according to the location and number of vehicles specified.

The image below shows, in the case of a quotation with two vehicles, the hire duties of the first and second turn (# 2).

To add a driver or assistant hire duty, click on the + at the bottom. Choose the type of Resource, the Vehicle hire in which to enter it, and if the duration is entire or partial. In the second case, you can specify different hours and places of start and finish.
Each driver’s hire duty is marked with a capital letter that distinguishes it from the others within the same vehicle turn.
To confirm click continue and proceed with the editing of the booking details. Alternatively, you can hold the CTRL key while clicking on continue and the changes of a new duty will be automatically saved.

To change an already existing hire duty, click on the icon of the blue pencil in the left part of the row.

If more than one section is specified in the route, a vehicles hire duty is created for each.

The image below shows, for example, the hire duty 1 and the hire duty number 2.
