Configure integration with QuickBooks Online

Prerequisites
  • This integration is applicable only to UK and US Companies.
  • Ensure that the base currency of both Sengerio Company and QuickBooks Online Organization is the same. Otherwise it could lead to incorrect amounts.
Note: Any changes made on QuickBooks Online will not be reflected in Sengerio.

Preparatory steps BEFORE activating the Integration
  1. Payment Methods
    The user must make sure that every payment method present in QuickBooks Online is also present in Sengerio and that they have the same name.
    2. Deferment days and Terms
         The user must make sure that in QuickBooks Online, the presence of                              the Terms according to the following specification:
  • A Term must be created with the same Name as the number in the Due in fixed number of days field.
  • This Term will be selected when populating the Deferment days field in Sengerio both for the Customer and the Invoice.                                            
    3. VAT Rates and Tax Codes
  • The user must make sure that every tax code present in QuickBooks Online has an equivalent Sengerio VAT rate with same name.
    4. Customers
  • If the user has been using Sengerio and is new to QuickBooks Online, the user must export all the customers from Sengerio to QuickBooks Online.
  • If the user has been using QuickBooks Online and is new to Sengerio, the user must export all the customers from QuickBooks Online to Sengerio.
  • If the user has been using both Sengerio and QuickBooks Online separately, the user must manually align customers between the two systems. To do so, align the Business Partner Code in Sengerio with the Display Name in QuickBooks Online.
    5. Invoices
  • If the user has been using Sengerio and is new to QuickBooks Online, the user must create invoices in QuickBooks Online with same Invoice no. as Sengerio.
  • If the user has been using QuickBooks Online and is new to Sengerio, the user must create invoices in Sengerio with same Invoice no. as QuickBooks Online.
  • If the user has been using both Sengerio and QuickBooks Online separately, the user must manually align invoices between the two systems. To do so, align the Invoice no. in QuickBooks Online with the Invoice Number in Sengerio.
    6. Credit notes
  • If the user has been using Sengerio and is new to QuickBooks Online, the user must create credit notes in QuickBooks Online with same Credit Note no. as Sengerio.
  • If the user has been using QuickBooks Online and is new to Sengerio, the user must create credit notes in Sengerio with same Credit Note no. as QuickBooks Online.
  • If the user has been using both Sengerio and QuickBooks Online separately, the user must manually align credit notes between the two systems. To do so, align the Credit Note no. in QuickBooks Online with the Credit Note Number in Sengerio.

After you have followed the preparatory steps, to configure your integration with QuickBooks Online, click on the gear icon in the main menu and then on Integrations.


Click on Activate to the right of QuickBooks Online.


If you already have a QuickBooks Online account, just click on Connect with QuickBooks Online. Otherwise, follow the link and register a new one.


You must log in your QuickBooks Online account and then select your company to connect it to Sengerio.


In the last step of connection, review the information and then click on Connect.


When the integration is done, the page is reloaded.

Done! Now you are integrated with QuickBooks Online!

This integration will reflect all changes made to your:

  • Customers

  • Invoices

  • Credit notes
on QuickBooks Online.
