How email sending works in Sengerio
In this article, we explain how the email sending system in Sengerio works, including the option to send blind carbon copies (BCC).
1. Optional Email Sending with BCC to the Sender
To simplify communication management and ensure all sent emails are properly tracked, Sengerio automatically sends a blind carbon copy (BCC) to the sender for specific types of emails. This applies to the following documents:
- Quotations: When you send a quotation document to the customer, you will automatically receive a BCC.
- Booking Confirmations: Every booking confirmation sent to the customer includes a BCC to the sender.
- Invoices: Invoices sent to the customer also include a BCC to the sender.
- Credit Notes: Emails transmitting credit notes to the customer automatically include a BCC for the sender.
- Operational Documents for Suppliers: When you assign a service to an external supplier, the operational document sent via email includes a BCC to the sender.
Purpose of Emails with BCC
The purpose of sending a blind carbon copy (BCC) is to allow the sender to have a copy of the emails sent via Sengerio in their own inbox. This enables the sender to keep track of the communication and continue the conversation with the recipient if the recipient replies to the email.
2. Documents Without BCC or Tracking
For all other documents sent via email, which do not fall under the categories mentioned above, no blind carbon copy (BCC) is sent to the sender, and there is no email opening tracking feature. These emails are sent as normal, untracked emails.
3. Access to the List of Generated Documents
Important note: All documents generated and sent via email are listed in the Generated Documents section. This list can be easily accessed by opening the burger menu (the three lines in the top left) and selecting Generated Documents.
4. Bounced Emails
Important note: Emails that are not successfully delivered (bounced) are returned to the sender’s inbox. Additionally, these bounced emails are recorded in the Generated Documents list, making it easy to monitor any delivery issues.
Conclusion
Sengerio’s email sending system is designed to streamline the management of critical communications by providing BCCs for essential documents and ensuring the sender can continue the conversation with recipients directly by replying to the emails. However, there is no feature for tracking sent emails in an undisclosed manner, ensuring full respect for the recipient's privacy.
