Configure a rate table for Private Tour
To configure the prices for a rate table for Private Tour, access that rate table or create a new one.
You can enter the rate divided according to the duration of the trip.
  • Less than 6 hours → Half day rate table;
  • More than 6 hours and less than 24 hours when the trip is within the same day → Daily rate table;
  • More than 6 hours and less than 9 hours, even if the trip would straddle two days → Daily rate table;
  • More than 9 ore e straddling several days → Several days rate table

All three rate tables are configured in the same mode.

You can define all the elements that you think are necessary to calculate a tour price in a general way.

For every element, (Vehicle, Drive, Assistant, Other) choose a unit rate and associate a quantity that you can be fore the Total Distance (every km is multiplied by the unit rate) , the Duration in hours (every hour is multiplied by the unit rate), or a flat Price (i.e. fixed).

Only in the case of a rate table for several days is it possible to select also in Duration in days (every day is multiplied by the unit rate) and the Daily distance (total km are divided by the days of the trip, and then the result is multiplied by the unit rate.)

At the time when the rate table is applied, the final import is made of the sum of the unit price of each element multiplied by its quantity.

Let's see an example: the configuration below means that the rate for the driver is 30 EUR per hour and for the vehicle is 0,40 EUR per km.

Clicking on Show rate table in the Prices tab, you can see the calculation details.

You are free to add all the elements that you think necessary, and to specify a Band and lowest tariff for each.

Configuring the band you can define, for example, a price for the first 100 km and another price for the next km, from 101 on.

Configuring the lowest tariff, you can use that if the quantity multiplied by the unit rate is less than that value.

In the image below, the first 100 km have a price of 0,40 EUR per km, but given that the lowest tariff is 20,00 EUR, it means that the first 50 (20,00 / 0,40) are always added to the price.
